Terms & conditions

Version 2026-09-14-credit-packages

1. Who provides Spotted

Spotted is a wedding photo service supplied by the seller identified above. Contact the seller using the email and address shown above for support, complaints, cancellation or privacy requests. These terms apply to organizers, wedding professionals and invited guests. The purchase summary identifies the seller, product, price and applicable version of these terms. Paid checkout remains unavailable until the seller’s commercial information is complete.

2. Accounts and invitations

An organizer must be at least 18 and authorized to arrange the wedding experience. Organizers sign in with Google and are responsible for protecting their account, keeping their contact details current and sharing the invitation only with intended guests. A wedding professional must have the couple’s authority to manage its wedding and photos.

Guests do not buy a subscription or need a Google account. The same browser can resume its existing guest identity when the same invitation is scanned again. Clearing browser data, private browsing or using another browser or device can create a different identity. An invitation is an access link: someone who receives it may be able to join, so do not publish it where you do not want people to access the wedding.

3. The digital experience

The Wedding package costs €49 once for one wedding, with access from activation until 12 months after the wedding date. It includes customization, an invitation link and QR, camera capture, a shared reveal gallery and organizer album downloads. Creating a draft and previewing it is free. A saved draft or an unpaid order is not a published wedding; publish after payment is confirmed.

Each guest browser has a roll of 24 photos per wedding, with at most 5 per category. Guests use the phone camera inside Spotted; library uploads are unavailable; invited guests can download photos after the gallery reveal. Images are square JPEGs and may be cropped, compressed or styled. An uploaded photo is confirmed only after the server has received it. Temporary browser storage holds queued photos awaiting upload and can be lost if browser data is cleared. Organizers should download their album before access ends.

The camera opens at the configured start and closes when the reveal opens. The organizer can change reveal timing, pause capture, control gallery access, remove photos and download the album. Gallery images can be viewed by participants with access once revealed. Guests with access to a revealed gallery can download individual photos.

You need internet access, a supported current mobile browser with camera permission and sufficient device storage. An in-app browser may require opening the invitation in Safari or Chrome. A website cannot switch on camera permission or open system settings automatically. Your device or network provider may charge for data.

4. One-time wedding plans

All packages are one-time purchases: Wedding EUR 49 for 1 wedding, Planner EUR 199 for 5 weddings and Studio EUR 349 for 10 weddings. There is no subscription or automatic renewal. New card-purchased credits can be used for 12 months from purchase. Each published wedding has access until 12 months after the wedding date set at publication.

Creating drafts and previews is free. A wedding credit is used when a wedding is published; restoring the same wedding within its access period does not use another credit. Archiving, deleting or changing the date of a published wedding does not return its credit or extend its access period. If the event is postponed, contact Spotted to agree any change to the paid access dates before editing the date. Buying another package adds its weddings to your account without removing previous purchases. Printed books are purchased separately.

Existing confirmed purchases and already-published free or trial weddings retain their original access conditions. New card-purchased credits are used when you publish a wedding. Previously paid single weddings keep their own access and do not consume additional package credits.

5. Prices, payments and confirmation

Prices are in EUR and include applicable taxes. Wedding includes 1 wedding credit for EUR 49, Planner includes 5 for EUR 199 and Studio includes 10 for EUR 349. Each package is paid once. There is no subscription or automatic renewal.

When card payments are available, Stripe Checkout processes payment securely. Spotted does not store your card details. Credits are added only after server-side payment confirmation. Returning to the app is not proof of payment. For separately arranged bank transfers or photobooks, wait for written instructions and confirmation.

New card-purchased credits can be used for 12 months from purchase. Publishing a wedding consumes one credit. Deleting or unpublishing does not return the credit. Each published wedding remains available until 12 months after its wedding date. Additional purchases add credits; unused credits from each purchase retain their own expiry. Existing confirmed purchases and already-published free weddings retain their original access conditions.

Your accepted purchase terms can be downloaded in your account. A payment receipt is not automatically a tax invoice. Contact Spotted for invoicing and cancellation requests. Your statutory consumer rights and the cancellation policy below remain unchanged.

6. A printed book, handled personally

The printed photobook costs €129. Wedding + photobook costs €159 and includes the €49 digital package plus a discounted €110 book component. Both book offers include one 20 × 20 cm hardcover book, 40 inside pages, up to 80 selected photos, one personal layout and one round of revisions. Delivery, additional copies or requested upgrades are not included. Any extra work or change in price must be agreed before it is charged.

Books are arranged manually. A delivery request from another country is not a delivery guarantee. Before payment we confirm that we can deliver to your destination, the delivery price and the delivery timetable. You may purchase a book after the wedding or buy the bundle beforehand and choose photos later. A delivery quote is valid for 30 days; after that we reconfirm it before taking payment.

Printing begins only after payment and your approval of the final proof. Check names, dates, spelling, image selection and cropping. Tell us about image-quality concerns before approval; a small screen preview does not guarantee print sharpness. Normal screen-to-paper colour differences are possible. Approval does not waive rights relating to printing errors, damage, faults or a product that differs from the agreed proof.

We confirm the proof schedule when your selection is ready and agree a delivery deadline before you pay. If you request a later delivery or delay approval, we agree an updated timetable. If we cannot meet an agreed delivery deadline, we contact you and provide the remedies required by applicable law, including cancellation and refund where due. Shipping status and tracking appear in My purchases once dispatched.

7. Cancellation, withdrawal and refunds

For a digital package purchase, you may cancel within 14 days after the contract is concluded and request a full refund, even if you have started using Spotted. This is our launch cancellation policy and does not reduce any stronger statutory right. Starting immediately does not waive that policy. After that period, a change of mind does not normally refund a completed purchase. There is no automatic renewal to cancel. Statutory remedies for a defective or unprovided service remain available.

For a book, we also allow cancellation before printing begins, with a refund of the book component and any unused delivery charge. Once printing has begun, a made-to-order personalized book normally has no change-of-mind return right for EU consumers. This exception does not affect rights for a faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied book. In a bundle the digital component is €49 and the book component €110; requests concerning one component are assessed separately without reducing applicable rights concerning the whole contract.

Email support with your name, account email, order reference and a clear request to cancel or withdraw; no special wording or reason is required when exercising a statutory withdrawal right. The optional form below can be used. We process refunds that are due without undue delay and within 14 days of receiving a valid withdrawal notice, using the original payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise at no extra cost. Where the law permits withholding a goods refund pending return or evidence of return, we explain this and provide instructions. We cover reasonable return costs for a confirmed faulty or incorrectly supplied book.

Optional withdrawal form: To the seller identified above. I notify you that I withdraw from my contract for the following service or goods: ____. Order reference: ____. Ordered on / received on: ____. Name: ____. Address: ____. Email: ____. Date: ____. Signature only if submitted on paper.

For defects or complaints, contact support with the order reference and a description; photographs can help explain a printing issue. You retain all mandatory rights to correction, replacement, a price reduction or refund that apply in your country. You do not lose those rights merely by approving a proof or missing an informal reporting request.

8. Expiry, archiving and deletion

After a paid digital period or professional trial ends, weddings become read-only for 30 days: new captures and publication stop, while organizers can download available photos. A further 60-day archive period follows. Archived data is retained for restoration or support, without a promise of indefinite guest access. We give at least 30 days’ notice to the organizer’s account email before any scheduled permanent deletion; Spotted currently does not run an automatic purge when this period expires.

Manually archiving a wedding stops new photos and keeps its original access end date. A used wedding credit is not returned by archiving or deleting. A gallery that has already been revealed can remain visible to invited guests under its settings. Deleting a wedding instead closes its invitation and removes its photos. Deletion can require retries for a large album. An open book order must be completed or cancelled before its source wedding can be deleted.

Removing a photo hides it immediately and offers a brief undo. Removal from the gallery is not a promise of instantaneous erasure from all storage. Contact support for a privacy erasure request. Records needed for payments, tax obligations, disputes or abuse prevention can be retained separately for the applicable legal period. We do not retain these records as a reason to keep a public wedding gallery open.

9. Photo rights and acceptable use

Photographers and other rightsholders keep their rights. By submitting a photo you authorize the storage, resizing, delivery and display needed for this wedding experience, and printing only when the organizer orders a book. This permission does not transfer ownership or authorize Spotted to use your photos in advertising, sell them or train an AI model on them.

Share only material you are entitled to share and respect the people pictured, including children. Do not submit unlawful material, intimate images without permission, harassment, impersonation, malicious files or content that infringes another person’s rights. Do not scrape galleries, bypass invitation controls, automate fake guest accounts or interfere with other weddings. Report an image using support and provide the wedding reference; we may restrict access to investigate a credible report.

We may suspend access proportionately for unlawful use, a serious security risk or unpaid access. When practical, we explain the reason and allow the account owner to respond. Suspension does not remove any refund or other remedy required by law. Necessary security maintenance may occasionally interrupt service; Spotted is not a guaranteed replacement for a professional wedding photographer.

10. Privacy and professional use

The Privacy Policy describes account data, guest identifiers, photos and order information. Organizers decide the purpose, invitees, timing and use of their wedding gallery. Professionals must provide the relevant information to couples and guests and establish a lawful basis for their use of personal data. Guests should not be told that a camera permission prompt alone grants every person’s permission to publish their image.

Where a professional uses Spotted as a processor for its clients, a data-processing agreement identifying the parties, instructions, safeguards and subprocessors must be completed before client personal data is entrusted to the service. A trial can be explored with test data in the meantime. We do not claim that a purchase alone completes a professional’s privacy obligations.

11. Changes, responsibility and disputes

The terms accepted at purchase remain available in the saved purchase record. We give advance notice of material changes affecting ongoing paid access. We do not retroactively increase a paid one-time package price or shorten previously agreed access. Necessary changes to meet law or address security issues do not remove your mandatory rights.

Nothing in these terms excludes responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded, including mandatory consumer rights, fraud or intentional misconduct. Remedies are determined by applicable law. If a problem occurs, contact support first so we can try to resolve it. Consumers retain the protection of mandatory laws and access to competent courts and consumer dispute-resolution bodies in their country. Any legally required seller-specific complaint or alternative dispute-resolution details are supplied with the seller’s commercial information.
